A high flow drip chamber that
significantly reduces foaming at higher flow rates
and ensures a smooth continuous laminar blood
flow. The pre-pump arterial lines drip chambers
are made of non-collapsible material. Post-pump
arterial and all venous lines are made of soft
material. Clear material has been used for ease of
viewing air bubbles.
-
Luer locking AV fistula needle patient connectors.
The luer taper is designed to fit all fistula
needles female luer hubs as well as shunts,
catheter and sub-clavian connections.
-
Luer patient connectors are large and easy to
grip. They lock in place to protect against
accidental separation.
-
Combo-sets have a level adjust line and monitor
line on the arterial and venous lines.
-
Vented priming recirculation adapter on all
arterial and venous lines. (One is to use when
priming the dialyzer and one is to close the
extracorporeal circuit before discharging it.)
-
Non-blood contact color-coding for Arterial (Red)
and Venous (Blue) identification.
-
Latex free injection ports have a large guard
area. An easy grip surface below the guard area
makes insertion of needles effortless. Injection
ports preclude puncture of PVC tubing and possible
coring. All blood-tubing sets have two injection
sites. One prior to the drip chamber and the other
just before the connection to the fistula needle.
-
Venous filter has no rough edges or fibers to
cause clotting and it's made of a single molded
part.
-
Ratchet clamps provide one-handed control of flow
within the extra corporeal system offering secure
and safe closures.
-
Pump connectors are designed to provide continuous
laminar flow, which reduces the risk for
Hemodialysis.
-
Dialyzer connectors are DIN standard locking
connectors with wide wings for better grip.
-
All main tubing is kink resistant and is coiled
and taped to prevent contamination. Tubing from
patient connector to pump segment and/or drip
chamber is taped separately to avoid contamination
during set-up on the machines. All heparin tubing
is also coiled and taped.
-
The Set packaging format eliminates accidental
mixing of non-conforming arterial or venous lines
for a given machine and requires less storage
space. Less packaging provides an environmental
advantage of less disposal waste.
